Vietnam War Souvenirs and VC and NVA Captured items
 VS-545   North Vietnamese Army enlisted mans combat belt from the 1960s. Exc condition. These were also occasionally used by the Viet Cong. $180
VS-544  Captured NVA Helmet with copy photo of the Marine who captured it. Liner is loose on one side, will not effect its display at all. Veterans name and unit will be provided to buyer. $550$SOLD$
VS-543  North Vietnamese Army Uniform. Well used and sun faded. $295$SOLD$
VS-542   Scarce South Vietnamese flag, made from silk. Approx 20 x 30 inches. $245
VS-541  Exceptionally Rare Viet Cong made propaganda sign made out of C- Ration outer cardboard cases. One of several that were brought home by the Division Surgeon of the 9TH Division in the Mekong Delta. These were captured at a VC Hospital in 1968 and brought home with its contents. I suspect that were having wounded Soldiers copy text on to these to occupy their time. Obviously they did not understand the language and just lettering from an existing sign. Approx 19 x 12 inches in length. Reads as follows.
               "Say no to terrors and massacre against the Vietnamese . When encountered, throw away your weapons. Cross over to the Vietnamese People. You will be well treated.".
  
These would have been nailed up along trails to be seen by American Troops to demoralize them. Probably the only one like it you will ever see.  $375


VS-548  North Vietnamese Army Officers combat belt from the 1960s. Exc condition. These were also occasionally used by the Viet Cong. $220
VS-545  Rare Company Sized Viet Cong Cotton Flag. Measures 4'6" x 6"4'. Cotton is in good condition overall, showing one small field repair. Some storage staining on one side, luckily does not really effect the other side of the flag. The customer who sold  this has owned it since the early 70s. $450  $SOLD$

VS-543   NVA/ Viet Cong Water bottle and harness. Fantastic battle damage along the bottom from a concussion explosion which has pushed the bottom up. Possibly from Aerial Bombing. $150
VS-542   Fantastic In Country made Vietnamese made combat rig. Includes local made pistol belt, pouches and shoulder straps. Not sure if this was used by US Special forces or VC or NVA Soldiers. Fantastic item. $195
VS-539  South Vietnamese Chu Hoi Leaflet as dropped on VC and NVA positions. These stated that the Viet Cong or NVA who surrendered would be well treated. $25
VS-534  VC Jungle Workshop Razor made from rough cast aluminum in a clay or stone mold. Takes a straight razor blade. $30
VS-531    Extremely RARE 20 x 24 original acrylic on board painting from artist , Victor Olson. Olson produced illustrations for books and magazines and was the official artist for Sikorsky Helicopters in Connecticut. In addition to producing artwork for the Sikorsky factory for use in brochures for Government contracts, his artwork was used to produce prints for Sikorsky employees. This is the ORIGINAL artwork produced for the rollout of the ASPB Mark II in 1969. The ASPB was a Riverine Assault boat used in the Brown Water Navy in Vietnam and this was to be the improved model. Three prototypes were built, one by Sikorsky. the company won the contract but due to wind down in Vietnam they never went into production. The one survivor was used for Special Forces training until 1980. VERY RARE!!! $395

VS-508  One of the most rare of all VC/ NVA items. This rubber ground sheet was used as both a way to keep yourself dry if sleeping on the ground, or to construct a tent over your hammock. Sometimes they were also tied over the shoulder as a rain cape. $100
