VS-248 Fantastic very late War Veteran
bring back lot. This Marine served in Vietnam in 1972. In
this lot is his AWOL bag, his Vietnam Lighter, Soldiers
handbook, named, his Boonie Hat which is fully inscribed to
him and his unit, M.A.B. 1ST of the 9TH, Co K., 3RD
Marine Division, Bien Hoa Vietnam, 1972. This is the latest
documented captured NVA Helmet we have ever seen, and it
defies the typical 1960s construction because it is 1972!!
Evidently the early 70s helmets had paper labels and plastic
supports for the sweatband. Very interesting. $395$SOLD$ |
